Public vs Private status pages
Summary
Section titled “Summary”Visibility is either Public or Private. Private pages require at least one access method: Password, IP restrictions, and/or SAML (OR logic). Mechanism availability depends on plan.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”None — concept article. Operators configure this under status page Page details.
- Choose Public for openly reachable pages.
- Choose Private when visitors must unlock via password, allowed IP, or SSO.
- Enable one or more Private access methods; visitors need any one.
