How to post a global alert update
Summary
Section titled “Summary”Global alert detail uses a timeline similar to incidents. Post updates from the alert detail page.
Who can do this: Owner, Admin, or Editor.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”An active global alert. See How to create a global alert.
- Open Global alerts, or use Update global alert in the header when one is active.
- Post a new update in the timeline form (message and related fields).
- Click Post (or the primary action shown on the form).

Result
Section titled “Result”The latest update shows on public pages (banner / timeline) and can notify subscribers.
