How to protect a private page with a password
Summary
Section titled “Summary”Under Private access, enable Password. Methods combine with OR — visitors need any one enabled method.
Who can do this: Owner or Admin. Requires private pages entitlement (Starter+).
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”Page Visibility set to Private. See How to set a page to Public or Private.
- Open the status page editor.
- Under Private access, check Password.
- Enter a password (At least 8 characters on create; Leave blank to keep current password when editing).
- Save the page.

Result
Section titled “Result”Visitors see the private gate with Password and Continue until they unlock the page.
