How to create a service

Summary

Section titled “Summary”

Services are components shown on status pages. Health is not set manually on the service itself.

Who can do this: Owner or Admin (canManageWorkspaceCatalog).

Prerequisites

Owner or Admin role. Optionally create categories first.

Steps

Section titled “Steps”
  1. Open Settings → Services (or Dashboard New service).
  2. Click New service.
  3. Enter Name (and translations if you have additional publishing languages).
  4. Confirm Slug (auto-filled from the name).
  5. Optionally choose a Category or open New category.
  6. Under Status pages, link the pages where this service should appear (or Link to all current status pages).
  7. Click Create service.

Result

The service appears on Services and on linked status pages.

Troubleshooting

  • If your role cannot edit: Your role cannot edit services. Ask an Owner to upgrade your role.
