How to set a page to Public or Private
Summary
Section titled “Summary”Visibility is Public or Private. Private pages require at least one access method (password and/or IP restrictions and/or SAML, depending on your plan).
Who can do this: Owner or Admin. Private pages require Starter or higher (feature entitlements).
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”A status page. For Private, a plan that includes private pages.
- Open Settings → Pages and select the page.
- Under Page details, set Visibility to Public or Private.
- If Private, configure at least one method under Private access.
- Click Save / Save changes on the page form.

Result
Section titled “Result”Public pages are openly reachable. Private pages show the access gate until a visitor satisfies an enabled method.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Upsell titles include Private status pages if the plan does not include them.
- Downgrade notice: Your subscription no longer includes private status pages. Switch visibility to Public and save, or upgrade under Settings → Billing.
